June 1st was the day I graduated, & I've never felt more relieved & happy to finally be done with school! I treated my family to a restaurant we never usually get to go to: Golden Corral. (Man that's a great all you can eat buffet!) XD
& then of course there's still college! I'll be going to The Art Institute of Michigan- Troy in July, but today my parents & I went up there to talk with the people about financial aid (Man, that stuff is complicated!). I've already sent my application & essay to them, thankfully. I really like the school, we took a tour, but not a full one. I noticed that they had the Cintiq Touch tablets in the computer labs! ^ ^
One thing we need to find out is if there's dorms there at the college, otherwise we might go to the one in Novi (The regular Art Institute of Michigan).
Now, about my profile, I think it's about time to make a new one, or at least make some MAJOR changes. I haven't had my tablet in a while so I haven't had any chances to improve my digital art. But i'll definitely be using it more.
My possible new username will be like the nickname of a certain baseball player from the Boston Red Sox...

Still Here
Happy Easter, everyone! Just got my first-ever desktop PC from a friend a few weeks ago. After having only laptops for years, I guess I'm finally moving up in the world! xD It's a Skytech Azure pc with a Ryzen 5 3600 cpu, RTX 3070 gpu, & 16gb DDR4 ram. Or was! Now with my much better paying job, I had to upgrade everything lol Now I have a RTX 4070 Super (which is pretty good for 1440p gaming at max settings), Ryzen 9 5900x with 4.1 GHz & 64gb of DDR4 ram with 3600mhz, which should give me better performance while doing art & rendering with apps like After Effects & Photoshop. Screwing the cpu cooler back into the motherboard was a bitch, though... My Huion Kamvas Pro 16's 15.6 (1920x1080) screen isn't compatible with my new 2560x1440 monitor. So I'll need to get a new graphics tablet soon that's the same resolution. All of this is part of the reason I haven't been doing art lately. The other part of the reason is Armile. I've been working on this story for over a decade now;
Emergency Commissions
I've been hoping to start commissions for quite some time, but now it's urgent. My rent is starting to get insane, & my current job won't give me a raise. On top of that, I need to pay for parts repairs on my car. Not to mention the bills I may have to put on hold... Can anyone lend a hand? Please?
Requests On Hold (Please Read)
Recently, I made art for someone who wanted Crash Bandicoot & Batman crossed-over, & since then, even after I posted the second art request just today, I've gotten nothing but MORE requests! Guys, this is starting to be too much. It's not that I don't want to draw for you guys, but with my tight work schedule & limited free time, I'm not able to do projects at the speed I want to. I don't want to become someone who just does specific art for everyone as they please. Please understand. For right now, I'm putting requests on hold for now, at least until I finish the two other art requests I've gotten around the time I finished Bat-Bandicoot.
Commissions
So, I've been wanting to make money off of my artwork for years now, but I never really looked into what commissions are all about until now. I want to start getting into this. I've been looking around at tutorials recently, but maybe someone here knows more about it. How should I start out? Any tips?
